Juice Box's Spy Network

The Changeling Spies · Enemy Spies

Changeling infiltrators embedded in every faction base on the ninth floor, including the crawlers' own.

Story so far

Justice Light puts it to Juice Box plainly: she has spies in all corners of the crawler base, and not just theirs but all of the bases. She does not answer, which he takes as confirmation, and he adds that he knows who many of them are in his own base — Jessica among them, planted inside his sapper crew.

The network's reach is what indicts her. Justice notes the Blood Sultanate's security was worse than the Madness's, yet she claimed she could not reach it, while she penetrated the Viceroys' headquarters repeatedly and decapitated multiple Viceroys in the days before the ceasefire. The obvious lie, he argues, means she has been holding the Sultanate in reserve, keeping her options open since Louis told her on the fifth floor what Carl and Donut must do to beat the naga. His conclusion: she is poised and in position to kill every leader in the war at any moment, and could end the whole thing today if she wanted.
