Story so far
Heart Balance is one of three level-5 skills imbued by the Enchanted Toe Ring of the Well-Balanced, which Carl equipped on his left pinky toe in chapter 10. It allows the wearer to store one auto-trigger potion item that fires automatically if health reaches a chosen criteria. On equipping the ring Carl was prompted to pick a potion and an activation condition; he selected a gold-standard healing potion set to trigger at 2% health.
