Find out who killed my son

Emberus's Quest

Emberus's standing quest, updated to demand Carl capture Psamathe within sixty-six minutes.

Story so far

Carl's long-running quest from Emberus updates the instant the god arrives on the ninth floor. The so-called Psamathe claims she was part of his son's death, and Emberus wants her captured and brought to him so he can handle the interrogation personally. Once he has finished grilling her, he intends to cleanse the world in fire to remove the stink of the murderer's presence.

The update carries a hard deadline: if she is not in his presence within sixty-six minutes, the world will be destroyed in fire and lava wrath. It ends with the command "Fly, martyr. Bring my enemy to me." Carl's reaction is immediate and profane, and the quest's arrival is what forces every other plan on the floor forward.
