Li Na's Chain Lattice

Story so far

Dozens of chains spread out in all directions from Li Na's tower, attaching to the wreckage around it and even to The Nest, forming a lattice pattern below the hovering Astral Paw. Carl could not understand what he was seeing until Princess Donut named it: the finisher.

The paw passed cleanly through the lattice; the thousands of enemies clutched in it did not. Each downward slam forced the captives through the chains, cutting them to pieces, the effect like slamming a thousand cherry pies into a chain-link fence over and over until almost all of the goo made it through. Chains snapped one by one, but Li Na grew more with every pass, and Donut repeated the slam dozens of times until the screaming stopped.

Appearance

A dense web of iron chains stretched across the air between a ruined tower, the surrounding wreckage, and the Nest, growing back as fast as it breaks.

Role

The kill mechanism that turns Donut's Astral Paw from a crushing weight into a shredder.
