Story so far
Referenced obliquely through the Temple of Khepri. Rishi says the late princess believed her plan to kill Carl with a god was a sound one, and Carl agrees it almost worked — but everyone who entered the temple with Princess Vinata died just as Rishi had warned they would.
Rishi's refusal to enter the temple, on the grounds that he would be just as dead as everyone else, is the single decision that leaves him alive to make his offer to Carl.
