Flaming Rocks
A new enemy weapon: burning boulders that hit the ground and roll flaming through the smoke, drawing screams.
Story so far
Far to Carl's right during The Charge, a rock hits the ground and rolls, flaming through the smoke, and screams follow. Carl notes it as a new type of weapon — something the enemy had not yet used. More flaming rocks spin toward the crawler line, and he swerves as one blurs past his vision and disappears into the smoke.
They are the newest escalation in the enemy's rock artillery, following the Poison-Infused Rocks that turned the battlefield smoke green. Carl gets no chance to study them; the Build Trench Scroll phase begins moments later.
Appearance
Boulders wreathed in fire that land and roll flaming across the ground, blurring through smoke at speed.
Role
A newly introduced enemy artillery weapon during the trench assault.
