Teleportation Ban

No Teleporting

The restriction that keeps Lucia Mar from skipping the tower stairs and makes the Donkey Kong defense work.

Story so far

When Princess Donut reported that Lucia Mar was coming up the tower, Carl answered with the key fact: she can't teleport, so she has to go up the stairs. 'We prepared for this. Remember? Donkey Kong.'

The restriction — reinforced by the Anti-Escape Trap Net Lucia herself cast across the Nest Tower — is what makes a barrel-rolling ramp defense meaningful against a caster of her power.

Role

The rule that forces Lucia onto the ramp and gives Donut a fighting chance.

Relationships

Lucia Mar — Bound by it, forced to climb on foot.
Donkey Kong — The defense built around it.
Carl — Counts on it when ordering the Donkey Kong play.
