Cloak of the Benevolent Champion

Donut's cloak

Donut's cloak, whose steadily rising Constitution boost Carl argues is an enhancement, not a base stat.

Story so far

Princess Donut pins her hopes of regaining party leadership on this cloak: her Constitution still has several more spots to tick up before it hits the top because of it, and when it does, she claims she'll be back in control.

Carl shuts that down. Leadership is based off base stats, and the cloak's own description is pretty clear that the wearer loses its benefits over time if it's removed — which by his reading makes the Constitution buff an enhancement rather than base. Donut retorts that she doesn't even know what that means and it sounds like he's making it up.

Appearance

Worn continuously by Donut, its benefits accruing over time while equipped and decaying if removed.

Role

The item at the center of the argument over whether Donut can reclaim party leadership.

Relationships

Princess Donut — Wearer relying on its slowly climbing Constitution boost.
Carl — Argues its bonus is an enhancement and so cannot restore her leadership.
Party Chat — Leadership rule the cloak's bonus fails to satisfy.
