Protective barrier Florin throws up by reflex as he hits the ground before the bomb.
Story so far
In the instant between Carl shouting "Bomb!" and Baroness Victory's axe landing, everyone reacts on pure instinct: Tipid turns into a puff of smoke on Carl's left, and on his right Florin hits the ground with a shield forming around him. The blast never comes, and Florin stands back up rattled but unharmed once the explosive satchels are safely inventoried away with Herman the Fleet's corpse.
Role
Florin's emergency defensive spell, cast reflexively against an imminent explosion.
