Mordecai's horror-of-war film program for the changeling kids, which backfired and inspired them instead.
Story so far
Mordecai has been playing WWII and Vietnam war movies in the Saferoom for some of the younger changelings. The kids had been angry about Carl's "no child soldier" pronouncement, especially since someone pointed out that Donut is younger than most of them. Mordecai thought that showing films focused on the horrors of war — Hamburger Hill, Platoon, and Saving Private Ryan — would dissuade them from wanting in on the action.
Predictably, the whole thing backfired, and the kids are complaining louder than ever. Samantha watched too and was apparently enraptured, adopting 1940s victory rolls and touring the battalions offering "moral support." Bonnie and Skarn stow away aboard Party Planner in defiance of the same ban.
Role
A failed attempt to talk the changeling children out of joining the fighting.
