Princess Chandra, Esquire is the lawyer the system assigns to represent Princess Donut in her exit-deal meeting, over Quasar's objections - he had argued for the job and even wore his Mongo tie for it. Chandra's meeting with Donut runs before Carl's concludes, and Donut declines all of her offers, but the negotiation reportedly produces serious fireworks, and not the good kind.
Quasar delivers the reason as the last beat of Carl's story in the book. Carl guesses the problem is that Chandra is another catgirl. It is worse than that: she is Carl's new wife. Quasar says flatly that they need to have a serious talk about her, and the crawl ends on that revelation hanging.
