Brain Trust Upgrade
Brain Trust · brain-trust
Donut's upgrade that makes every one of her spells operate a full level higher than its listed rank.
Story so far
Carl explained the effect while watching Donut fight through the Robot Doggies at The Reaver Castle. Brain Trust makes all of her spells operate at one full level higher than before, which he described as not a huge deal in itself.
In practice it crossed a threshold: her Magic Missile sits at level 15, so Brain Trust fires it at level 16, and at that power the spell no longer merely kills. Targets are turned into a rapidly expanding group of atoms, evaporating completely, as several Reaver sentry dogs demonstrated.
Role
The upgrade responsible for Donut's spells annihilating rather than simply destroying their targets.
Relationships
