Wire Coils
Carl's trailing capacitor wire, snapped away and cut off the moment the temple portal closed behind him.
Story so far
Carl's capacitor wire ran behind him into the Temple of Khepri, but when the door slammed closed on its own the wire snapped away, cut off by the portal. He noted later that his wire had been chopped off at the portal to the temple, severing whatever electrical setup he'd staged in Club Vanquisher from the fight he was about to have.
What did survive the cut was Li Na's aura, which still filled the main part of the club, and the other doors the team had propped open, which remained so despite the boss-battle sequence.
Appearance
A run of capacitor wire trailing through a doorway, sheared clean at the portal's threshold.
Role
Carl's severed power link, cutting him off from his prepared electrical setup during the temple fight.
