NPC proprietor of a level's only trap store, murdered by Justice Light in a moment of anger.
He was one of the lizard creatures — the ones that smell funny, talk constantly, say whatever is on their mind, and change gender at will based on their environment; Justice Light cannot recall the species name. Another of his kind had cheated Justice earlier, leaving him already on edge, and then this one insulted him without meaning anything by it, because that is simply their way. Justice, a proud Skyfowl, snapped and killed him.
He had been the proprietor of the only trap store on the entire level. Because of his death, dozens of Justice's fellow crawlers could not find the supplies they needed to complete the floor, and they died. Justice has since killed thousands of mobs and NPCs, but this one killing is the one that defines him: not for the deaths it caused, but because it was the moment he 'allowed the cold to get inside' and could no longer return to who he had been. It is why he later asked for the right to run a trap store during his Indentureship — and why, decades on, he still wonders what difference there is between anger and cowardice.
A talkative lizard humanoid that smells strange and can change gender in response to its environment.
The first person Justice Light killed out of anger, and the origin of his lifelong guilt.
