Dreadnaughts

Dreadnaught

Invisible, faceless-masked assassins who infiltrate the barracks roof to kill Carl during the confusion.

Story so far

A dead dreadnaught still lies on the roof of The Barracks when Carl arrives, his invisibility cloak sparking and making him stutter in and out of existence. Carl scoops the body into his inventory and takes the strange, faceless mask as well.

A second one, J IronFjord, is still up there and invisible, closing on Carl's back with a glowing dagger, until Princess Donut shouts a warning. Carl's bare-fisted punch lands on armored chest, drawing an audible "Oof," and the dreadnaught seems genuinely surprised at the strength of the blow. Carl tears the mask off — it spins away like a frisbee — and beats him to death on the roof, feeding The Scavenger's Daughter. Donut sweeps the roof afterward and confirms no others are hiding.

Appearance

Heavily armored figures under sparking invisibility cloaks, wearing strange featureless masks and carrying glowing daggers.
