Bag of Cat Food
The bag Carl grabs mid-dive from Houston's rifle and spills all over his own field hospital floor.
Story so far
As Architect Houston opens fire, Carl dives, lands heavily against a counter, and grabs the bag of cat food in the same motion he uses to drop an impact Hob-Lobber — a small absurd priority in the middle of an assassination attempt.
He drops it anyway on landing in the Field Hospital, and the little brown pebbles spill across the rocky ground, going everywhere. He is still sitting among them, bleeding and gasping, when the Sluggalos slither in to tell him there's a war on. The bag is a quiet reminder of Princess Donut, absent from the whole ordeal.
Appearance
A bag of small brown pebbles of cat food, now scattered across the field hospital floor.
Role
Comic and poignant object Carl saved from the ambush instead of a bigger bomb.
