Deployable barrier Carl drops during the retreat, knowing full well it would do nothing against a nuke.
Story so far
As the party fell back from The Reaver Castle toward the transport, Carl dropped a blast shield behind him. He notes explicitly that he knew it would do absolutely nothing if one of the Mini Tactical Nukes went off, and he ran anyway.
The better protection turned out to be distance and Imani's wings, which covered Elle, Holger, and The Strippers when the castle detonated.
Role
Deployable cover, dropped reflexively during the retreat despite being useless against the coming blast.
