Crown of Sepsis Whore
Donut's crown, whose price is that she cannot leave the floor until Katia is taken.
Story so far
As Katia falls into her orchid coma and Donut mourns not getting to say goodbye, the narration notes the constraint the crown imposes: Donut will not be able to leave the ninth floor until after Katia is whisked away. That is the price of the Crown of Sepsis Whore.
The restriction shapes Carl's entire escape plan. Everyone else can be evacuated once Louis's Surgery succeeds and the stairwells generate, but the final party will be just Carl, Donut, and Katia, waiting on Huanxin Jinx with Emberus closing in.
