The restored sultanate Rishi proclaims himself leader of, replacing a monarchy Carl thought was ancient history.
Story so far
Asked how a prisoner can be allowed to make deals, Rishi draws himself taller and answers that he is allowed because he is now the leader of the new Naga Sultanate. Carl is surprised — he thought all the sultan business was in naga history — but Rishi explains that his brothers are deposing The Naga King, the royal children, the prime minister, and the House of Greens in the Naga Uprising.
Rishi signs the Naga Treaty Offer as 'Sultan Rishi the Usurper, First of his Name of the Naga Uprising.' Carl notes that this is not the same name that appeared in his Holistic! achievement, which called the system the Naga Protectorate of the New Reformer — and then asks the only question he cares about: what happens to the contract if the signatory dies before it is signed.
