Story so far
When Juice Box transforms at the warlord council, Carl reaches for the closest thing he knows to describe her: the form was similar to an armless soother alien, but taller and thinner, midnight black, with multiple tentacles waving from the shoulders and crackling with electricity.
The comparison is Carl's only handle on the shape—he does not understand the reference or who Juice Box is supposed to be portraying, though whoever it is causes enough of a stir among the aliens present that even he feels unnerved.
