Gloom Wraith Phase

Phase

A short incorporeal dash that lets Carl slip sideways out of the gale tower's firing line.

Story so far

When the Gale Strike Tower dug the ground out from under his hiding position in Shanty Town, Carl popped up and ran, waited for the tower to shift its aim, then activated Gloom Wraith Phase and pushed in the opposite direction — moving sideways and putting a pair of buildings between himself and the tower.

He hit the ground the moment the phase expired and sprinted around the side of the Nest Tower, diving through its broken-in door just as the gale blasts zeroed in on him again.

Role

Escape skill Carl uses to break a tower lock-on and reach the Nest tower.
