Tiatha's Wire Hack

The Wire Hack

Mistress Tiatha's technique for mixing tower amplification with wire to broadcast an aura far past its normal range.

Story so far

Mistress Tiatha's wire hack is what makes the Club Vanquisher Infiltration possible. Combined with the tower boost carried along the Clock Tower Capacitor Wire, it takes Li Na's Dark Purpose — normally a small-area aura affecting only someone physically touching her — and extends it to anyone within about twenty meters of the wires. Amplifying the signal this way makes the effect nearly impossible to escape.

The hack also preserves the aura's legality: Dreads do not count as offensive magic, so the whole scheme sidesteps the club's restrictions. Carl feels the working as a low-voltage tingle in the wire knotted around his wrist. The results exceed anyone's projections, including Li Na's own leveling estimates.

Role

The technical trick that converts a touch-range aura into a building-clearing weapon.
