Administrative Action

Killed by Administrative Action

Summary execution of an indentured NPC by the dungeon's management for refusing to follow orders.

Story so far

When Justice Light says he will refuse to fight crawlers and asks what will happen to him, Dante answers only, "Nothing good." Administrative action is what he means. Indenture contracts allow the Showrunners to reassign staff at will, and disobedience is resolved not by discipline but by deletion.

Dante's own crawler record records the outcome plainly: while temporarily reassigned as an ice castle guard on The Eighth Floor, fourteen seasons short of the end of his Indentureship, he was killed by administrative action for refusing to follow orders. It is the price of the line he was still asking himself whether he would cross.

Role

The lethal enforcement mechanism behind an indentured worker's obedience.
