Scroll Linen

linen scrolls · Milk's scroll linen · sleep linen

The hard-to-obtain linen Milk writes her scrolls and maps on, most of it burned by Bianca.

Story so far

Linen is Milk's medium as guildmaster of the Calligraphy Guild. She sleeps beneath a sheet of sleep linen whose ink has faded, and keeps a stash of blank scroll linen for her work. When Bianca surges into the room, that stash bursts into flames, and Milk pleads that her supplies are hard to get and the pet is destroying them; Prepotente answers only "Serves you right." Afterward Milk sifts the pile for scraps still usable.

Linen scrolls are how she produces things like the scroll that mutes dungeon announcements and, presumably, Milk's Map.

Appearance

Sheets and rolls of writable linen, ink-faded on the used ones, charred and scrap-picked after the fire.

Milk's scarce writing medium, and the loss that measures what helping the crawlers costs her.
