Story so far

As mages heaped protection spells on Carl's assault squad in The Trench, the system announced: "You have been Titivated. Projectiles do less damage." It was one of the many layers in a stack Carl described as more shields than he had ever had on himself at once.

The buff was well-suited to the moment — the enemy Artillery Batteries were dropping rocks through the cloud cover onto their positions, and pulse rifle fire would soon be sweeping No-Man's Land. Titivated formed part of the same pile that Imani later added a whole new line of buffs to when she spread her ethereal wings in the trench.
