Story so far
The Celestial Orgy of Chaos! announcement raises the mystery directly: someone let out a bunch of gods who shouldn't have been allowed into the temple in the first place, and it probably wasn't who you think it was. The reward box's name — Celestial, Who-Let-The-Gods-Out Box — needles at the same question.
Carl naturally assumed it had something to do with Samantha, but this time it doesn't seem to be the case. The basilica Ogre Guards came up from below to help in the fight, which apparently left the front door unguarded, but Carl thinks there's more to it than that. It remains yet another mystery on his pile, alongside why Grull named him a friend of the church.
