Story so far

Awarded to Carl the instant Mind Balance reached level 16 while he sat babbling with his bare feet buried in an All Tree root. The system openly mocked him for it, saying it would ramble on about the accomplishment but he was currently a babbling idiot, so it would speed up the "Empire Strikes Back cave scene bullshit" and get him back to the action.

The reward was the skill itself — with the sardonic note that a level-16 Mind Balance would at least wake his ass up. It did, and it made him immune to the barrage that had nearly ended him.
