Enemy tower firing relentless concussive gale pulses at the Nest and at Carl personally throughout the fight.
The gale tower fires continuously at Carl from outside — wap, wap, wap — its pulses hammering the wall of The Nest and driving its integrity down to 45%. Carl survives the early exchange by keeping the edge of the Nest between himself and the tower.
When he steps too far left to punch Gustavo 3, a blast catches him like a ball of air, folds him in half, and drives his shoulder into the middle of his chest. A second blast keeps him standing but a third shatters his arm backward and detonates the sleep wand in his hand. A later bolt slams into Rend, who barely moves and giggles, and another whips past Lucia Mar's head by inches without making her flinch.
A distant tower whose fire arrives as invisible concussive pulses of air with a wap sound, strong enough to fold a body in half.
The primary artillery threat pinning Carl and battering the Nest during the siege.
