Story so far
In the optimistic branch of Rishi's pitch, if humanity persists and the Post-Crawl Collection never happens, the Macro AI will continue to spread and perhaps a new inner-system-style community will emerge — with all the benefits of the current Inner System.
Natives protected by that AI, he argues, would soon rise to be among the richest and most influential forces in the galaxy, which is precisely why he wants the naga on record as Earth's friends beforehand. It is the upside half of the gamble underlying the Naga Treaty Offer.
