Church-quest mechanic letting a new worshiper bundle volunteers as prospects and haul them into a god's temple.
Both Theia and Khepri attach a church quest to conversion requiring the new adherent to recruit at least one more person into the religion. To make that easier, each offers a Prospect Congregation — volunteers agree to be "prospects" and receive what amounts to a day pass to the temple, where they can see what they're missing. Initiating one is as simple as setting up a party.
The form the prospects take depends on the god. Theia turns them into balls of light small enough to fit in the worshiper's pocket. Khepri turns them into literal beetles that the female adherent must swallow whole and later birth atop his buffet table. Either way the prospects arrive intact and spend the next several weeks being wooed, which is exactly the loophole Princess Vinata and her guards use to sit out Faction Wars in safety. When it's over, Vinata politely declines the invitation and the priestesses teleport the non-worshipers wherever they like, if teleportation is available.
The conversion-quest loophole that turns a temple visit into a warlord's private bunker for the length of Faction Wars.
