Earthworks Teams
the earthworks teams
Posse tunnelers working beneath the defenders' feet as the orc army masses exactly where anticipated.
Story so far
Carl notes the earthworks teams working under his feet as he walks out to the parlay. The Posse was caught out by the Paratroopers and the attack from inside their own base, but this time the enemy is camping exactly where they had anticipated, which lets the digging be aimed to purpose.
On the surface the posse projects an air of quiet determination, as though waiting for the enemy to move first. In fact everyone, tunnelers included, is working furiously.
Role
Subterranean engineering crews preparing the ground under the coming assault.
Relationships
Carl — Directs them as part of the castle defense.
The Princess Posse — Its labor force under the battlefield.
Bunkers — The above-ground half of the same defensive works.
