When Justice Light demands to know where the gate artifact is, Carl finally tells him: it is in the stomach of a merchant named Paca in the Midnight Market. Justice recognizes the name immediately — she is an ambassador for the in-game's version of The Apothecary.
He thanks Carl and says he will have it shortly. Asked whether he knows how to get there and how to get inside, Justice replies that there have been seasons when his own shop stood within the market, so he knows it well; with the help of the Sluggalos he will have the artifact very quickly. Paca herself has no idea what is coming for her.
