Pawn Shop Television

Carl's Television

The awful TV Carl kept in his living room, which Donut insists was stolen because it came from a pawn shop.

Story so far

Peering into a Magical Periscope on the Southern Front parapet with the artillery falling, Princess Donut declares the resolution amazing — much better than that awful, stolen television Carl had in the living room.

Carl objects that it wasn't stolen. Donut's rebuttal is definitive: he got it from a pawn shop, which means it was stolen, because everybody knows everything you buy from a pawn shop is stolen. The exchange runs on while a thousand Juiced Rot Sticker Behemoths are already rolling toward them through the fog.

Appearance

An old, low-resolution television that once sat in Carl's pre-Collapse living room.

Role

A pre-Collapse domestic detail Donut uses to needle Carl mid-bombardment.

Relationships

Carl — Owned it before the Collapse; denies it was stolen.
Princess Donut — Insists anything from a pawn shop is stolen.
Magical Periscope — Device whose resolution prompted the comparison.
