Unique celestial cape granting stats and Dodge, plus a once-hourly roll on 333 outcomes, sixty-six of them awful.
A prize from a celestial box, Zhang's Cape of Odds is white with the black, blue, red, and yellow concentric rings of an archery target. Unactivated it grants across-the-board stats and a level-10 Dodge skill, which stacks with Zhang's existing rank of eleven to bring him to fourteen.
Its real feature is Roll the Dice, a once-an-hour skill Carl compares to a Wheel of Fortune at a casino: one of 333 different outcomes fires. Most are good — doubled strength for ten minutes, an hour of flight — and a few are epic, including a Death Ray and assorted summons. But sixty-six outcomes are bad. None kill outright and all are temporary, though they include paralysis, all stats dropped to five, an ominous entry called "It's been four hours and I think it's time to call a doctor," and worst of all, Summon the God Who Hates You the Most. The insidious, genuinely celestial twist is that after nineteen spins the wearer may manually pick an outcome.

High-risk celestial gear that Zhang wears proudly but refuses to activate casually.
