Bubble Level
The Bubble Level · Dust Storms
Earlier floor whose dust storms Donut invokes as the closest thing to the trench war's blinding conditions.
Story so far
Unable to be heard over the artillery at the Southern Front, Princess Donut moves to chat and shouts at Carl in capitals that the conditions are unacceptable, asking how they are supposed to fight like this — it reminds her of the dust storms from the bubble level.
The comparison is her yardstick for the Obfuscation Spells and smoke choking the battlefield: a floor whose defining hazard was visibility itself, now surpassed by a war in which both sides deliberately blind everyone.
Role
Earlier floor recalled by Donut as precedent for the trench war's zero-visibility conditions.
