Carl's Backpatch

The Scavenger's Daughter Patch

Carl's patch, whose name he learns this chapter belongs to something — or someone — far larger.

Story so far

Prompted by Akuma's claim that the The War Mages came to the Reaver Castle only to find The Scavenger's Daughter, Carl messages Mordecai to ask who The Scavenger and the Scavenger's Daughter are. He admits he knew the phrase only as the name of his patch, and didn't know there was more to it than that.

Mordecai asks whether he means the in-dungeon one or the fairy tale, and then refuses to explain either — it's a conversation that won't matter if Carl can't find and kill the two remaining warlords or survive the floor without fighting Juice Box and the NPCs. The patch's real meaning stays unexplained.

Appearance

A patch bearing the name The Scavenger's Daughter, worn as part of Carl's gear.
