Story so far

As Carl reached the 66th level of Larracos, the city's network of 100-plus towers finished spinning up. To his left, a green-gemmed poison splash tower let out a thwum and shot a glob of green light, aimed downward and deeper into the city — indiscriminately targeting whatever the City Defense System had flagged below.

Its activation, alongside the red Fire Lance Tower beside it, sent the fleeing NPCs screaming into the nearest structures.
