Story so far
The first of Carl's gold boxes in chapter 10 turned out to be a fan box, and it contained roughly 2,000 rounds of ammunition in several boxes plus a single unenchanted leather holster. The gun belt was a black leather shoulder holster, the kind detectives wear on television, with "Carl" pressed into the leather in English. Princess Donut observed that the fans clearly did not know Carl very well.
It contained no gun, but Carl knew exactly what the fans wanted him to do with it — he still had his father's Glock in his inventory. He noted it wasn't what he'd choose for concealed carry, which he couldn't do anyway without pants, and stated flatly that he had no intention of ever wearing it outside his inventory or ever even using it.
