Operatic Traps

Anti-Personnel Shrapnel Mines · Janky Mines

Non-magical shrapnel mines left across former Operatic ground, easy to spot but slow to sweep.

Story so far

With magic banned floor-wide, the defenders fell back on mechanical warfare. Florin reported that the retreating enemy had left a lot of non-magical traps across former Operatic Collective territory—mostly janky anti-personnel shrapnel mines, which he compared to the ones he'd seen in Borno.

They were easy to spot, he said, but they made for slow going, and they were the main thing holding up the 103rd Recon Legionnaires and 105th Scream Warriors rather than any enemy infantry.

Appearance

Crude, non-magical anti-personnel shrapnel mines, conspicuous enough to spot but numerous enough to slow an army.

Role

Mechanical minefields that blunt the Posse's northern advance in a magic-banned war.

Relationships

Florin — His units must sweep them to advance.
Operatic Collective — Left across their former territory.
