The Rainbow

the rainbow light

A shaft of rainbow light shining up out of the pile of witnesses that gods appear to fear.

Story so far

Donut spots the rainbow shining straight up out of The Pile beside the Dream Castle, singled out from the tangle of eighty thousand bodies as its own landmark. After Rolling Battle Formation balls the pile up, the light keeps shining out of the sphere, now strobing like a disco light as it rolls.

Its effect on the gods is immediate: Harpocrates moves to hit the ball but, according to Donut, is afraid of the rainbow for some reason, and holds off. Whatever it is, it is currently the best protection the witnesses have.

Appearance

A column of rainbow-colored light stabbing straight up out of a mound of bodies, later strobing like a disco light from the rolling ball.

Role

The mysterious light in the pile that keeps at least one god from attacking it.
