Warlord Penalties

Penalties · Three Allowed Penalties

Escalating sanctions for cheating warlords; the first costs a quarter of the standing force and two tech slots.

Story so far

Panford announces that since this is the first of three allowed penalties, the The Democratic Sortion will receive a 25% reduction in its standing force — then breaks off as Commander Stockade begins destroying his own face on the floor.

Rattled and with all formality gone from his voice, Panford completes the sentence anyway: 25% reduction in force and removal of two tech slots. Because those slots are currently filled with mechanized armor, both units are immediately disbanded. The ruling establishes that warlord teams get three strikes, that force size and tech slots are the currency of punishment, and that penalties land even on a warlord already dying.

The Ascendency's escalating three-strike sanction system for convicted cheaters.
