Dumplin'

Story so far

When an elf veteran mage burns away a portion of the swirling smoke at the Southern Front, his spell also magnifies one of the oncoming creatures for everyone to see, almost like a boss battle notification. The creature is Dumplin', a level 40 Juiced Rot Sticker Behemoth belonging to Cybernetician Yeller of The Reavers.

Dumplin's readout doubles as the defenders' first warning of what is inside the wave: warnings that the pet suffers from Gurgles, from Insanity, from Not Just Rabies but Eat-Your-Face-Off-Rabies, and that it has been fed a Truck Stop Boner Pill. The tender name against that list of afflictions makes the entry the chapter's clearest indictment of the Reavers — an animal raised on tummy rubs and fetch, then poisoned and fired at a trench.

Appearance

A ravioli-shaped rot sticker swollen by steroids to the size of a Mini Cooper, rolling at speed through fog and smoke.

The named example pet whose system readout reveals the debuffs loaded into the entire behemoth wave.
