Troll Smoke Mantle

Smoke Mantle

Carl's smoke screen, dropped to break line of sight from the gale tower — helpful only nominally.

Story so far

With the Gale Strike Tower walking its fire toward him across the upper level of Larracos, Carl dropped a smoke mantle, scrambled up the side of a barracks building, ran across the roof and jumped clear into Shanty Town.

The smoke bought only a moment: the tower resumed its slow turn the instant Carl appeared above the cloud. He notes that against Inexorable-locked towers, invisibility potions don't work at all and smoke only helps nominally.

Appearance

A dropped cloud of concealing smoke.

Role

Stopgap concealment during Carl's escape from the gale tower.

Relationships

Carl — Drops it to break the tower's line of sight.
Gale Strike Tower — Only nominally hindered by it.
