Witness Spell

Witness · The Witness Spell

Enemy spell that paralyzed the crawlers in a screaming pile while leaving them fully conscious and feeling everything.

Story so far

After the battle at The Nest, the freed crawlers describe what the Witness Spell did to them. Elle says that piled up inside it they were paralyzed and could feel everything but couldn't move, and that it was awful. Chris compares it directly to being mind-controlled by Maggie My. Katia says the worst part was waking up mid-fall without knowing what was happening, and that even that was better than where they had been.

When Princess Donut cast her battle formation spell and swept them all into the ball, it knocked them out cold and ended the Witness effect. She is horrified because they were all screaming, but every one of them reports having no memory of the time in the ball, and they credit her with saving them.

Role

The torment Donut's battle formation ball rescued the crawlers from.
