The roughly one-hour deadline before Team Retribution takes the Dream castle and the rules kill Tagg.
Story so far
Edgar opens with the timer: about an hour left to figure out the Louis issue before Team Retribution soldiers take the Dream Castle. Everything that follows is measured against it — the search for a forfeit, the fake bargain over Warlord Chat, the surgery being prepared.
Mordecai notes that Epitome Tagg can read the warlord page and see his own remaining time, which means the deadline cuts both ways: nobody can wait him out, and he will not be surprised when it expires.
