A crab named Raul, one of the cards in Carl and Donut's eighth-floor deck.
Raul is a crab, and a card. When Quasar runs through the deck Carl and Princess Donut built while stranded in Cuba, Raul comes second on the list, after the seal thing and before the giant terrifying cat, the donkey-snake and the fused Lazarus.
That is the entirety of the public record, and it is enough: on a floor where the fights devolved into "a lot of crying, a lot of bleeding, and a whole lot of screaming confusion", a crab with a first name was one of the assets Carl went to war with.
A crab, sufficiently distinctive to be introduced by name rather than by size, colour or menace.
One of the monster cards in Carl and Donut's eighth-floor deck.
