Story so far
Near the end of the interview Tempest catches her uncle skipping things: "You still haven't mentioned that whole thing with the homeless shelter, or that last card, the The Eye of the Bedlam Bride."
Quasar shrugs it off — "The homeless shelter was a non-event" — and gives the spider the same treatment, admitting only that nobody knows how that will turn out. Since he is a lawyer being recorded, and since the second item he dismissed is a demigod living inside his client's chest, his assessment of the first is worth exactly what it cost. The homeless shelter is left in the record as something the audience noticed, a young student thought belonged in a report, and Carl's attorney would rather not discuss.
