Neighboring Silo Lower Farms

Level One-Twenty

The Neighboring Silo Lower Farms have been stripped of crops, while simultaneous lighting generates dangerous heat.

Story so far

The lower farms on level one-twenty survived through improvised wiring and pipes, with power carried from IT despite an original light switch that had not worked for more than three decades. Carrots and beets grew in the overgrowth, and the farms fed Juliette and Solo for weeks. A tended section concealed six young survivors, including a baby, in a room among the plots. Jimmy remembered sleeping there amid pumps, cycling lights, and insects, and the children later resumed tending the plots.

The new arrivals have transformed that refuge. Every lower-farm plot now appears illuminated at once, generating dangerous heat, and Hank reports that the newcomers stripped all the crops.
