Story so far
Walker identified the angry gathering after his revelation about cleaning suits as the beginning of an uprising. Deagan Knox appealed to Supply to help restore order and end inherited oppression. The planned march concealed its purpose behind a staged outage and apparent repair effort, with separate climbing groups timed to reach level thirty-four together.
The assault on IT began with explosions at the doors and security gate. Defenders fought through an entrance blocked with chairs. Lukas shot an old woman carrying a bomb, whose dropped explosive tore through the obstruction and people around it; a second wave also failed. Mechanical and Supply fighters retreated down the staircase, and fighting at Mechanical continued for weeks with gunfire and blasting powder.
The wrecked stairwell and successive defenses did not halt the assault. Later accounts describe attackers entering the defenders' position, dozens dead, and several times that number detained. Bernard Holland claimed the uprising was less severe than the previous one. The conflict also disabled cameras, leaving Silo One unable to watch level one-forty and below.
Role
