Veritan Linkage is a mega-corporate lending fund identified by Mordecai from the logo on the Veriluxx benefactor box. Mostly aligned with the Soother species, it advocates for the enslavement of those who fall behind on their taxes, and it is the power behind Veriluxx RealPet Companions. Mordecai reasons that no company would pour mega-corp money into so cheap and stupid a toy campaign unless the real payoff lay elsewhere — most likely funneling money to Borant, with whom Veritan Linkage and the Bloom are closely allied.
It embodies the predatory economics quietly steering the whole crawl.
